In September 2024, Winn Creek RV park became Skipping Rock RV Resort & Campground, ushering in a new wave of camping fun in the Winslow, Arkansas community.

Under New Ownership, Skipping Rock RV Resort & Campground is experiencing a time of renewal and dedication to providing a safe, clean, family-friendly camping environment for RV and Tent Campers, as well as the local community through fun events, as well as lawn games, dog parks, and propane refill.
The park is located just off of Interstate 49 and not far from the Devil’s Den State Park.

Our Past: Winn Creek RV
Winn Creek RV was established in 1993 when Richard and Joy Heath bought 20 acres just south of West Fork, Arkansas. The property has 2 creeks that run on either side. A smaller one on the west side and Winn Creek on the east.
Mr. Heath envisioned a place where people could come and enjoy the comforts and peace of the country while still being close enough to the quad cities to drive in and enjoy all that Northwest Arkansas has to offer.
The Heaths bought an RV themselves and lived on the property that they had decided to build their dream on.
New Beginnings
Ryan and Brooke Hardin, Owners of Park Properties scheduled a time to come out and take a look and fell in love with the site and all the potential it had. They immediately went to work on purchasing the park along with Business Partner Travis French.
In September of 2024 Winn Creek RV became Skipping Rock RV Resort & Campground. Soon, construction began on upgrading all park features, remodeling bathhouses and laundry, and adding additional RV sites to allow for more people to come and enjoy the beauty of the park.
The laundry and bathhouse have been completely remodeled with updated modern amenities, while staying true to the rustic feel of the park. New washing machines and dryers and the addition of vending machines along with new sinks, toilets, and showers make the bathhouse one of the nicest you’ll ever see.
The addition of an upgraded security system make this building a clean, comfortable, and safe place.
Buddy RV camping sites have been added along the eastern side of the park as well as 14 single RV sites for people to enjoy the view of the creek. The enlarged creek experience space has been modeled after the West Fork City Park.
A new dog park, on site propane tank, horseshoe pit, sand volleyball, park wide Wi-Fi, a garden, 2-person sauna, and pavilion are just some of the fun amenities that have been added or are in the process of being added.
Future sites will also be added to include glamping tents and a walk bridge across Winn Creek. Stay tuned for more fun amenities and activities at the park!
